Research and Planning Blog

 In order to make my Commercial, I will do research and plan out my commercial. For my commercial I am going to base it all around me. I will do this by giving in-depth detail on who I am, my likes, my dislikes, and my hobbies. To enhance my commercial I will be using visuals such as videos, a song, and photos. These sources of visualization will be curated to who I am, and I will use ones that are best tailored to who I am. Doing this will give the reader and visualizer an even better view of who I am as a person. First, for my song I am going to pick a song that I like, and that I feel is most me. For the song I will pick "Hall of fame" by The Script. I am picking this song because it is all about pushing through any obstacles in life and achieving the highest of goals. This mentality and mindset reflects who I am because this is my view on life. It may not always be easy, but you must push through, doing this will bring you to the goals you most want to achieve. For my photos, I will use photos that reflect the things I like and the things I don't. For example, I enjoy wrestling, so I will use a picture of a wrestling mat and two wrestlers. For the things I don't like, such as homework, I will use a picture of homework. Another thing I dislike is losing, so I may use a picture of a wrestler tapping out. This will give the reader/visualizer a visual to understand me on a deeper level. Once I am done with the song and pictures I will add some videos.  The videos I will add will be used with the goal of yet again giving the reader a visual of who I am as a person. I will do this by using a video that represents the things I like doing, for an example I may use a video of wrestlers, or someone shooting a basketball. Another video I will use will be added to show what I dislike. Since I dislike homework and losing, I plan on using a video of a student attempting a homework assignment and failing.

 We are finally done with our music video! After about a week of gathering videos and editing, we have our video ready for submission. After the time and energy we spent producing, we couldn't wait to be done before deadline. The relief of being complete with this project is something the group takes pride in. We will all celebrate after school over our accomplishment and completeness of our video. Not only is our music video complete, it was done well and correctly. All of the group mates clips were in the video and successfully edited. Our video consisted of all the shots and scenes we planned it would. Now that we are done, I must complete this last blog. Completing this blog will allow me to post my music video, I will be done. As for my group mattes, they are all done.  I am working with a group of friends, Lance and Kevin. I am working with Lance because he is a friend of mine from culinary. Since having culinary with him last year, we became really close, at some points we have even hung out after school. Lance and I have bonded over many things, but one of the main bonds we hold is over working out . He has been working out for around 2 years consistently, and 6 months working out with weights. For our music video we are thinking about incorporating our love for working out. Us bonding over working out makes Kevin the perfect third person for our group. Kevin works out quite a lot, he has been working out for about a year and a half. Having the 3 of us being avid weight lifters will massively benefit our video.  I am Julian, I like to keep myself busy and do things that I find fun and entertaining. I like going out after school, whether that's to hangout with my friends or family. When being out and about I like to eat, so this usually includes me going to a restaurant or a shop. If my day doesn't consist of this, I like to go outside instead, sometimes playing basketball. I also like to wash cars, so if I ever am bored, I will offer my parents to wash their car. Over the summer I went to the beach a lot, which is one of my favorite activities.
