After all this time we finally got some film together from the group. On Tuesday we were all free to go to the gym and film. As I have stated in my previous blogs, planning the meetup was the hardest part. Finding a day when we all weren't busy was a challenge, fortunately we managed to work it out. After filming some footage we realize that the easy part is putting the footage together, this is due to you not relying on others. The transportation of the group member to the gym was easy enough, and went as planned. We coordinated this by me driving to Lance's house where I picked up Kevin and Lance. We then went to a condominiums gym, where we filmed our exercises and poses. Overall this took about an hour at the gym, if we didn't plan our scenes we probably would have been at the gym for up to three hours.  Once we shot our scenes we did not waste time editing together, instead we edited individually in our own time. Although we didn't mind editing individually, we sa

Unfortunately, the update for this blog is there was a lot less progress made than I would have hoped for. The hope was that by this blog post we would have filmed as a group, this has yet to happen. Last week up till now was extremely busy, so that alone made it impossible to film together. Along with my week being busy, the people in my group had a busy week. From here we must decide when to meet, and jump on the nearest opportunity to do so.  As of now I am not sure how this week will play out, but we are off of school tomorrow. I see tomorrow as an opportunity to meet, but it still may not work out. Besides a day off like tomorrow, our best chance may be after school as of now. Originally we were thinking of doing it on a weekend, but it may be better to do it coming out of school. If tomorrow doesn't work out, sometime this week should be the goal. Although the fact we haven't gotten together is an issue, we are luckily still ahead of schedule. That being said, I know how

Having the blueprint for our music video makes the filming that much easier. As a group, we decided that we will individually film our beginning scenes. These scenes include us waking up, making the food/protein shake, and the one scene of me driving to Lance's house. As of now I have not actually met up with Lance and Kevin yet, so the scene of me driving has yet to be filmed. That being said, I have filmed me waking up and me making food. To make sure the group is on the same page, I made sure the group is caught up with me on their filming.  The main obstacles holding us back from getting the gym scenes filmed is working all of our schedules together. A lot of the days Lance is available usually includes weekends, which don't work for Kevin and I. The days during the week that Kevin is available, I am not, so that makes it hard to plan the transport. To make sure we reach the deadline I have made sure that we have done all we could individually. Since we have not been able

To start our music video, we will each have a scene of us waking up. This will take place in a bed, having this scene will add to the motivational context. After we each film that scene, we will film ourselves making food. The food could be in the form of eggs, a smoothie, or a banana. Having a scene where we eat will be crucial to showing a realistic prep before working out. At this point I will have to be the one to transport our group member to the setting of the scene. In this case, the setting is the gym. Since I am the one that can drive, I will pick up both Kevin and Lance. I will film my drive to their house to show a transitory scene before making it to the gym. We are still working out logistics, but the current plan is to pick them up from Lance's house. Once they are picked up, the idea is to film a scene where we are at Lance's house. Given that this is part of the process to getting us to the gym, it is important that it is shown in the video. This scene will inc

Fort the music video me and my two friends Lance and Kevin will be working out. In terms of transportation, I will be providing the ride. This is due to the fact that I am the only one in the group that can drive. As of now, the plan is that we will all meet at a gym, we are not sure which one just yet but possibly a Planet Fitness. Given that the music videos main theme is workout music, we will workout in this video.  Before we put the clips of us in the gym, we will show the steps it took for us to get there. This includes us waking up, making food or a protein shake, and driving to the gym. Once these clips are edited together, we will follow the clips by videos of us doing workouts. The specific workouts we will do have yet to be decided, but she ideas include bench press and curls. Along with video video of us working out, we will have video of us posing to add to the hype around the workout and the song. The next thing we have to do is figure out which clips go with whose song.

Hello, my name is Julian. I am in 11th grade and I go to Fort Lauderdale High School. I am recently re-employed, I work at Kilwins, the ice cream shop. My first day was actually yesterday, it felt rather satisfying having a job after 7 months of being unemployed. My last job was at The Pelican, a resort on the beach. The reason I left was because it started to get into end of the year test time at school, and I chose to focus more on school than work. This decision came after 8 months of working there after school and on the weekends. The reason I worked there for as long as I did is because I had the overall goal of buying a car. Unfortunately the plan for the car was delayed past my date of leaving. Given that the car I was planning on buying didn't work out, my bank account slowly dwindled down. This time around, although no specific car is set, I am planning a better way to manage my money. Aside from work, I am quite active. As of recently I officially joined a gym, this wasn

I am working with a group of friends, Lance and Kevin. I am working with Lance because he is a friend of mine from culinary. Since having culinary with him last year, we became really close, at some points we have even hung out after school. Lance and I have bonded over many things, but one of the main bonds we hold is over working out . He has been working out for around 2 years consistently, and 6 months working out with weights. For our music video we are thinking about incorporating our love for working out. Us bonding over working out makes Kevin the perfect third person for our group. Kevin works out quite a lot, he has been working out for about a year and a half. Having the 3 of us being avid weight lifters will massively benefit our video. What will really make the video really interesting is incorporating our different ways of working out. Many people that don't often lift weights don't know the different ways to weight lifting, this can come in the form of higher vo

At certain points I never thought I would be able to say it, but finally, MY COMMERCIAL is FINISHED. After all the long hours of planning, filming, editing, it is done. In all honesty, having a project like this so early In the year caught me off guard. I wasn't prepared for the nights where you barely sleep because of the amount of work, this early in the school year. On the flip side, having this done has put my mindset back into that of school. Having a deadline with multiple blogs due at different dates was also a wakeup call. When writing the blogs, I never mentioned it, but a lot of the times the writing was more tiring than half the other work. To have to not only do the actual assignment but then to write extensively on it was the perfect combination for me to become tired of the assignment. The main thing I am absolutely proud about is the fact I kept up with the deadline, that was my first concern when learning about the assignment.  In the past, deadlines were always so
