Hello, my name is Julian. I am in 11th grade and I go to Fort Lauderdale High School. I am recently re-employed, I work at Kilwins, the ice cream shop. My first day was actually yesterday, it felt rather satisfying having a job after 7 months of being unemployed. My last job was at The Pelican, a resort on the beach. The reason I left was because it started to get into end of the year test time at school, and I chose to focus more on school than work. This decision came after 8 months of working there after school and on the weekends. The reason I worked there for as long as I did is because I had the overall goal of buying a car. Unfortunately the plan for the car was delayed past my date of leaving. Given that the car I was planning on buying didn't work out, my bank account slowly dwindled down. This time around, although no specific car is set, I am planning a better way to manage my money.
Aside from work, I am quite active. As of recently I officially joined a gym, this wasn't the first time I've worked out, but it is the first gym I have joined. Before joining my current gym I worked out at my buildings gym, which I've been doing for about a year. Working out at a "real" gym and a condo's gym doesn't even compare. When I say this I don't mean one is better than the other, they are just extremely different. Firstly, the gym at my condo is way less busy, but can really only be used by one person at a time. The gym I just joined is very lively compared to the gym at my condo, but it also has 1000x the equipment. Overall I am glad I joined the gym, along with the things I mentioned, many of my friends go to this gym. Having people you already associate with is motivating and makes the gym fun. Overall, I like to be busy and love being around people I love like family and friends.
