1. 1. How does your product use or challenge conventions AND how does it represent social groups or issues? Our product represents motivation and the ability to be determined even when it is hard to do so. This Is important in all of life, to stay determined when it is easier to stay comfortable is what sets the difference between winners and losers. Teaching yourself determination and willpower through working out is such an optimal and effective way for setting yourself apart from the rest of society. The reason there are so few people on the top in life (monetarily, successfully, relationships) is due to the fact most people are too lazy to even get out of bed in the morning. Making this music video about discipline and motivation was due to the hope that it would drive people to become better versions of themselves.

Part 1: Look at your research blog. After looking at the conventions - did you do what is in your genre or did you do something else? Why or why not? We did our genre, which is motivation. We did this because it fit best with our song and our goal of inspiring people.

Part 2: Social groups - what or who, if any, does your video represent. Think of the representation groups from the extract and then expend from there. Does your video deal with any social issues or groups or is it just a fun loving song. The video represents the general group of people who pick short term comfort for long term discomfort. Our video was made to show people short term discomfort is worth it for the long term satisfaction it gifts.

2. How does your product engage with audiences AND how would it be distributed as a real media text? It would be distributed in a documentary, this documentary would be about someone who put in the work and the time to become great and things that took time. This documentary would end with that person becoming the best at what they put time in, reaping benefits from it for the rest of their life.

Part 1: What makes your video special and fun and would want to male people watch it over other videos. It can resonate with people. Everyone has felt the need to lay in bed, so to see a video dealing with that exact feeling, but overcoming it, is what wil make people watch it.

Part 2: If this was a professional video - where would you release it - MTV, TikTok, Youtube... You decide. TikTok, this is due to it just being short enough to be considered shorter content. This would make it a prime tik tok due to its short length but impactful viewing.

3. How did your production skills develop throughout this project?

What did you learn about the process of coming up with the idea through posting the video - the whole process, what did you learn. Do NOT just list the steps you took, talk about the steps in depth. Throughout my production I have learned tons from the actual filming to the editing. Originally with filming, I thought it was just as simple as taking a regular video, but little did I know, it’s a lot more than that. Instead of just pressing record, you not only have to plan the scene, but also angle the recording device properly. Prior to this production I did not understand this like I do now. Editing before this project I viewed as simply cutting the original film and making it work with the other scenes, but that is a very naive way to edit. Instead, I would get a good app like capcut to help me. Then, I would make sure I had plenty of film to pick and choose from. Once the clips were chosen, I learned that it is best to order the clips first, and then edit them or cut them to fit.

4. How did you integrate technologies – software, hardware and online – in this project?

What did you use to film, edit and blog. my phone and blogger are not the correct answers. You have to expand on this one. WHY your phone over a camera, WHY blogger, WHY Capcut or I-Movie.  I integrated software hardware and online by using a physical camera to film, Capcut to edit as a software and online as blogger. We chose a physical camera instead of a phone, this was due to us wanting the film to be of a higher quality. WE used capcut because we were most familiar with it. Blogger was used due to the submission being on blogger.
